Have you taken a library class and wished you could review the lesson at a later date? If so, then electronic instruction may offer a solution. HSLS is experimenting with online instructional modules to supplement traditional face-to-face instruction, and we are asking for your input. To participate, go to News and Announcements on the HSLS homepage <www.hsls.pitt.edu>, and click on the “Electronic Instruction Project” link. Here you will find two sample modules highlighting HSLS resources UpToDate and MD Consult, and a link to a short surveys that will help us evaluate user satisfaction with this type of instruction. Please take 15 minutes to watch a module and complete the brief survey. In addition to learning how to use these resources, your input will provide insight for development of future instructional modules. -- Renae Barger |
