AccessMedicine Collection Available Electronically

The University of Pittsburgh and UPMC now have access to the major reference and textbooks from McGraw-Hill’s AccessMedicine collection. This online collection consists of 20 internationally recognized reference works in internal medicine, cardiology, genetics, pharmacy, diagnosis and management, basic and clinical sciences, and patient care. Key resources include Harrison’s Online, the AccessLANGE suite of 16 basic science and clinical reference texts, The Metabolic and Molecular Bases of Inherited Disease, Hurst’s The Heart, and the Current-Med references.

  • Harrison’s Online – This resource delivers the complete text, illustrations, and expanded features from the 15th edition of Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine, including additional references, many links to MEDLINE abstracts, and information from emerging fields.
