Please Join Us For "Lunch With A Librarian"

HSLS now offers an ongoing series called "Lunch With A Librarian". These one-hour, informal lunchtime sessions at Falk Library are designed to help you get to know HSLS librarians, learn about new resources, get tips on using library services and resources more efficiently, and ask questions about using the library. The sessions are B.Y.O.L. (bring your own lunch), but drinks and dessert will be provided.

Our staff of 20 reference librarians and information specialists is here to bring information expertise to the teaching, research, and clinical activities of the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC, and we’re always available to partner with you in your work. We’d like to share our information expertise with you, and help you feel more confident and efficient when searching for and using information.

Highlights of some of the many topics we plan to feature in upcoming Lunch With A Librarian sessions are listed below. We can also provide a specialized presentation to your group, or an individual consultation on these Classes. To arrange a special session, please contact Ammon Ripple, head of Reference Services, at 412-648-1251 or ammon2@pitt.edu.
