Attention Laptop Users
HSLS has added 17 new laptop computers to its collection, bringing our grand total to 28 circulating units. The circulation policy also has been modified so that laptops may be borrowed for up to four hours, and use is no longer restricted to Falk Library. Since the Pitt wireless network is now available throughout most of Scaife Hall and many other University locations, HSLS can travel with you! Although laptops may be borrowed by all authorized HSLS users, only those with valid Pitt accounts may use the Pitt wireless network: guest accounts are not available. Laptops may be checked out from the Computer and Media Center (CMC) on the second floor of Falk Library and must be returned within the four-hour checkout period to avoid late fees. Users are responsible for the careful handling of HSLS laptops and may be held accountable for damages.
