New HSLS Web Site "Unwrapped"

Throughout the holiday season, a brightly wrapped gift package was displayed in the study area of Falk Library with the following tag:

To: University of Pittsburgh/UPMC students,
      faculty, and staff
From: The Health Sciences Library System

Do not open until January 29, 2007!

When this package was finally opened, it revealed an interactive display of the highlights of the redesigned and expanded HSLS Web site.  The new Web site, launched on January 29, has a simplified design, allowing users to more easily locate information--a timesaving gift to busy students, faculty, and staff.  

Stop by Falk Library to interact with the displays that serve as introductory tutorials to the new Web site.  These illustrate sample searches and other site features such as the “How do I?” knowledge base, which provides answers to the most commonly asked library questions.
