New DVD Series: Career Success for Health Care Professionals
The DVD series Career Success for Health Care Professionals is designed to prepare health care students and employees for the real world beyond clinical skills. This DVD series intends to help viewers better understand and master “soft skills” such as empathy, communication, and professionalism. Each DVD seeks to “bring alive” important, yet intangible skills by presenting scenarios that depict challenging, real-world situations. The series includes the following six DVDs: Focusing on the Patient, Communicating on the Job, Thinking Like a Health Care Worker, Doing the Right Thing, Professionalism for the Health Care Worker, and Getting a Job in Health Care.
This series is located in the Computer and Media Center on the second floor of Falk Library under the call number R690 .C37 2005.
