   Children With Diabetes
  "The on-line community for kids, families and adults with diabetes." This extensive site offers information on every aspect of diabetes, from treatments to camps and chatrooms. It is written primarily for adult use, but children and teens can also find helpful information here.
 
   Children's Diabetes Foundation
  This non-profit organization is "dedicated solely to the support of research in childhood diabetes and to provide the best possible clinical and educational programs for children with this disease." Click on "Education" for helpful back-to-school checklists for students of all ages, from preschool through college.
 
   Think Like a Pancreas: a Resource Guide for Teens with Type 1 Diabetes
  Dr. Harold Starkman, Director of the BD Diabetes Center at Morristown Memorial Hospital’s Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey, created this Web site as a way to provide teens with "information about issues they may not be willing to discuss with their parents or physician.”
