Not every condition or disease has evidence-based analysis to assist with decision-making. This is a relatively new field of research, and many treatments and diseases have not been critically reviewed. Be cautious in interpreting evidence-based medicine information from sites located outside of the United States. Standard protocols can vary greatly from country to country, and the difference can be greater than that between institution to institution within a country.
