ProteinCenter, from Proxeon, is based on a consolidated, biologically annotated, protein sequence database derived from all major protein databases, enables filtering, protein grouping and statistical bioinformatic analysis of single, combined or comparison proteomics search results. Users can:

  • put proteins into a biological context
  • compare multiple protein lists
  • use predefined filters to sort essential proteins
  • share datasets with colleagues and collaborators

Noteworthy Features

  • Group proteins based on their respective peptides or sequence homology, separately or both at the same time.
  • Quantitative data can be imported from Mascot v.2.2, MSQuant or a spreadsheet.
  • Automatically removes redundancy, without removing experimental data points.
  • Filter proteins based on their peptide modification.
