If you have a University of Pittsburgh Panther card you are eligible to borrow library resources as the Panther card allows you to borrow books from all University libraries.
- If you are new to the University it may take a few days for your Panther card to be recognized by the various University libraries.
- If you are unable to borrow books with your Panther card, please contact Panther central at 412-648-1100.
UPMC patrons
If you are affiliated with UPMC you are entitled to borrowing privileges at HSLS. Please stop by the circulation desk at any HSLS library to receive a card. You will need:
- Your UPMC photo identification
- Identification with your current address, such as a drivers license or a piece of mail

To use HSLS online resources you must register for a Remote Access account at http://www.hsls.pitt.edu/services/remote/
