POINT your browser to the NCBI Entrez Gene Web page.

TYPE ģEGFRī in the text search box at the top of the page.

Under the text search box, you will find multiple tabs, such as Limits, Preview/Index, History, etc. CLICK the Limits tab.

SELECT ģGene Nameī from the drop down menu near the top of the page to limit your search.

From Limit by Taxonomy SELECT ģHomo sapiensī to further narrow your search.

CLICK the GO button next to the text search box at the top of the page.

You will be taken to the Entrez Gene page for EGFR. LOCATE the section titled Genomic regions, transcripts, and products to find the number of protein reference sequences.

Result
  • Protein reference sequences are listed for multiple isoforms of human EGFR.
  • You may also CLICK on ģGeneral protein informationī located under Table Of Contents in the right hand column.
