Libraries in Medical Education (LiME) is a special interest group (SIG) of the Northeastern Group on Educational Affairs (NEGEA) of the AAMC. There are LiME SIGs in each GEA region, and the four groups normally come together twice a year, at AAMC and MLA annual meetings.
LiME has three broad objectives:
- To promote communication and collaboration between libraries and NEGEA members on curricular and research initiatives.
- To champion librarians as valued components of the medical education team.
- Increase the professional knowledge and skills of NEGEA members through educational programming delivered by librarians.
