UniSTS

What you can do:
Find genomic marker and mapping information for a nucleotide sequence.
Highlights:
  • UniSTS is a comprehensive database of sequence tagged sites (STSs) derived from STS-based maps and other experiments.
  • STSs are defined by PCR primer pairs and are associated with additional information such as genomic position, genes, and sequences.
  • Search by Gene name, Gene description, Keywords etc., select options from "Limited to" drop-down menu to narrow your search.
  • Find information like the primer sequences, product size, and mapping information, as well as cross references to LocusLink, dbSNP, RHdb, GDB, MGD, and the Entrez Map Viewer.
Keywords:
  • STSs
  • Sequence Tagged Sites
  • genetic markers
  • electronic PCR
