Classroom 1 opened in 2006 for small group instruction; though the computers have since been updated, the room has retained its SMART Board.

Four librarians from Vietnam visited HSLS in 2006 to learn about services offered at academic health sciences libraries in the United States.

At the beginning of 2007, HSLS faculty and staff celebrated the launch of the redesigned HSLS website with the “unwrapping” of an interactive display.

In 2007, Falk Library revisited its twenty most borrowed books since 1987. The list represented interests across the health sciences, including books on statistics, molecular biology, dental medicine, and clinical care.
2008
Stefanie Allen, who interned at HSLS in 2008 while working toward her MLIS degree, staffs the reference desk.
