March 2011
At the beginning of 2011, several hundred visitors toured the wildly popular traveling exhibit Harry Potter’s World: Renaissance Science, Magic, and Medicine. When the exhibit left Falk Library at the end of March, Professor Dumbledore was raffled off to Christina Jolley of the School of Nursing (right). Read more about the exhibit and events here, and check out our current exhibit at hsls.pitt.edu/exhibit.

From November 2009 to July 2019, HSLS hosted the intensive 2.5 day course called “Systematic Review Workshop: The Nuts and Bolts for Librarians.” Offered three times a year, the workshop drew participants from across the U.S. and Canada, and instructed more than 700 librarians during its run.
