Do you use Wikipedia for health sciences information, even though you feel like you shouldn’t? Despite widespread skepticism of its value, studies have shown that the quality of information on Wikipedia is similar to other encyclopedias. In this two-part series, you will first learn about Wikipedia’s biomedical content and how to evaluate and use it effectively. Next, join us to learn how to contribute to improving Wikipedia by editing biomedical articles.

This class listing is for Part 2 on Tuesday, April 12, 12-1:30 p.m. Separate registration for Part 1 is required, which will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 12-1 p.m. If you would like to participate in Part 2 but are unable to attend Part 1, please contact Kelsey Cowles at

Class materials will be made available to class attendees. This class will not be recorded.
