Académie royale de Médecine de Belgique (ARMB) (Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium) was founded by King Leopold I on September 19, 1841. It was established to advise the government in matters related to public health, legal and veterinary medicine, and to promote research to advance the difference branches of the healing arts.
