TargetP -- subcellular location and cleavage sites prediction tool

What you can do:
Predict the subcellular localization of a protein sequence
Highlights:
  • Detect the subcellular location of eukaryotic protein sequences based on the predicted presence of any of the N-terminal presequences chloroplast transit peptide (cTP), mitochondrial targeting peptide (mTP) or secretory pathway signal peptide (SP).
  • TargetP provides a potential cleavage site for sequences predicted to contain a cTP, mTP or SP.
