The microRNA Registry
What you can do:
To obtain unique names for novel miRNA genes prior to publication of results
and to search sequence information of published miRNAs.
Highlights:
- Each entry in the miRNA Registry represents a predicted hairpin portion of a miRNA transcript, with information on the location and sequence of the mature miRNA sequence.
- Both hairpin and mature sequences are available for searching using BLAST.
- Entries can also be retrieved by name, keyword, references and annotation.
- This database is incorporated into miRBase as of 2006.
Keywords:
- microRNA
- miRNA
- miRNA annotation
- miRNA repository
