CHOP -- Visualization of x91Wobblingx92 and Isolation of Highly Conserved Regions from Aligned DNA Sequences

What you can do:
Find regions suspected of containing coding sequences and visualize nucleotide diversity between two genomic or gene sequences.
Highlights:
  • The program allows to visualize the x91wobblingx92 in the third codon position of aligned DNA sequences and therefore facilitates the discovery of coding sequences.
  • CHOP can also isolate highly conserved regions within both coding and non-coding sequences. Highly conserved regions within CDSs include the regions with lower rates of synonymous substitution in which nucleotide sequences are expected to be under strong selective pressure.
