MotifViz -- An Analysis and Visualization Tool for Motif Discovery

What you can do:
Identify functional sites (cis-elements) in DNA sequences.
Highlights:
  • Given a set of DNA sequences that share a common function, users can use the four programs to compare them to a library of sequence motifs (e.g. transcription factor binding patterns), and identify which if any of the motifs are statistically overrepresented in the sequence set.
Keywords:
  • DNA-binding sites
  • transcription factors binding sites
  • cis-elements
  • promoter analysis
  • promoter elements
  • regulatory elements
  • regulatory sequence motifs
  • regulatory motifs
  • transcription factors binding site prediction
