GPCRDB information system for G protein-coupled receptors

What you can do:
Search for a variety of information on G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs).
Highlights:
  • The GPCRDB is a molecular class-specific information system that collects, combines, validates and disseminates heterogeneous data on G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs).
  • The database stores data on sequences, ligand binding constants and mutations. The system also provides computationally derived data such as sequence alignments, homology models, and a series of query and visualization tools.
  • As of June 2004, it contains 9544 GPCR sequences; 133 G protein sequences, 9347 pairwise alignment, 7244 point mutations, 1898 3D models, and more.
