GeneNet -- A database on structure and functional organization of gene networks

What you can do:
Search for information on gene networks, such as metabolic pathways and signal transduction pathways.
Highlights:
  • It enables to describe not only the structural and functional relationships between gene network components, but also metabolic and signal transduction pathway.
  • GeneNet Viewer automatically displays the graphical diagram of gene networks described in the database.
  • Currently (2004), it contains descriptions of 37 gene networks, over 1700 proteins, over 860 genes, over 200 other substances and over 3700 relationships between components of gene networks.
  • Information distributed between 14 interlinked tables was obtained by annotating well over 1000 scientific publications.
