ARAMEMNON -- A novel database for Arabidopsis integral membrane proteins

What you can do:
Search and compare predicted membrane proteins and transporters in Arabidopsis, rice, cyanobacteria, and organellar genomes.
Highlights:
  • ARAMEMNON is a database about transmembrane (TM) proteins and transporters in thale cress (Arabidopsis thaliana), rice (Oryza sativa), as well as Synechocystis and organellar genomes.
  • The database compiles topology and signal sequence predictions and displays the results in a directly comparable graphical output format.
  • The ARAMEMNON DB enables direct comparison of the predictions of seven different TM span computation programs and the predictions of subcellular localization by eight signal peptide recognition programs.
  • ARAMEMNON also contains experimental intracellular localization data from the literature, a comprehensive bibliography and many other features for data mining and sequence interpretation.
