Het-PDB Navi. -- a database for protein-small molecule interactions

What you can do:
Search for information on the interactions between proteins and small molecules.
Highlights:
  • The database contains the results from searching through interactions of proteins and other molecules in PDB to survey molecules of which interaction modes are available.
  • About 4,189 types of small molecules were found to interact with proteins, most of which are metal ions, such as calcium, zinc, and magnesium, followed by sugars and nucleotides.
  • In each case of interactions between a protein and small molecule, preferred amino acid residues at the interaction sites are indicated.
Keywords:
  • protein structures
  • protein small molecule interactions
  • binding sites
  • interactions sites
  • ligands
