PMD -- Compilation of protein mutant data

What you can do:
Search for comprehensive information on documented protein mutants.
Highlights:
  • The Protein Mutant Database (PMD)covers natural as well as artificial mutants, including random and site-directed ones, for all proteins except members of the globin and immunoglobulin families.
  • The PMD is based on literature, not on proteins as each entry in the database corresponds to one article, which contains several or a number of protein mutants.
  • As of 2006, the database contains information on a total of 42662 entries and 203355 protein mutants.
