UCSC In-Silico PCR

What you can do:
Map the locations of a pair of PCR primers in the genome of a model organism.

  • In-Silico PCR searches a sequence database with a pair of PCR primers, using an indexing strategy for fast performance.
  • Users can configure several options before searching.
  • The minimum length of primers is 15 bases.
  • The search returns a sequence output file in fasta format containing all sequence in the database that lie between and include the primer pair.
