PolymiRTS Database -- linking polymorphisms in microRNA target sites with complex traits

What you can do:
Search for naturally occurring DNA variations in putative microRNA target sites.
Highlights:
  • The database integrates sequence polymorphism, phenotype and expression microarray data, and characterizes PolymiRTSs as potential candidates responsible for the quantitative trait locus (QTL) effects.
  • It characterizes PolymiRTS as a new class of sequence variants underlying gene expression traits and/or higher order mammalian traits.
  • SNPs in the miRNA target site in the 3'UTR of each gene were scanned and the QTL intervals in which the SNPs are located were then identified.
  • It is a resource for studying PolymiRTSs and their implications in phenotypic variations.
