What you can do:
Search for annotated genomic information of rice.
Highlights:
  • The TIGR Rice Genome Annotation Database and Resource is a National Science Foundation project and provides sequence and annotation data for the rice genome.
  • The release 5 of the database (Jan, 2006) identified 42,653 non-transposable element-related genes encoding 49,472 gene models as a result of the detection of alternative splicing, as well as 13,237 genes that are related to transposable elements.
  • The release 5 (Jan 2007) contains 33,882 gene models (28,706 genes) with ~ 1.2 million of EST and/or full length cDNA evidence using the TIGR PASA program.
  • All structural and functional annotation is viewable through our Rice Genome Browser which currently supports 62 tracks.
