Join us for a panel discussion on lead exposure in the community, discussing not only challenges faced today but celebrating the successes in our region and looking at future opportunities for making our communities safer from lead poisoning. The panel event will be co-hosted by Pitt’s School of Public Health Environmental and Occupational Health department, with guest panelists Michelle Naccarati-Chapkis, director of Women for a Healthy Environment, and Marcela González Rivas, Associate Professor in Pitt’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.

This event is being held in conjunction with the national exhibit, This Lead is Killing Us: A History of Citizens Fighting Lead Poisoning in Their Communities, on display from February 12 through March 22, 2024 at Falk Library in Alan Magee Scaife Hall.
