DPInteract -- A comprehensive library of binding sites for E. coli DNA-binding proteins
Search for experimentally determined DNA binding proteins and their binding sites over the complete E. coli K12 genome.
- Of the 240 candidate Escherichia coli DNA-binding proteins, about 55 have DNA-binding sites identified by DNA footprinting.
- These sites were used to construct recognition matrices, which can be used to search for additional binding sites in the E. coli genomic sequence.
