xc9clair x97 a web service for unravelling species origin of sequences sampled from mixed host interfaces

What you can do:
Use support vector machines for the classification of the origin of expressed sequence tags stemming from mixed host cDNA libraries.
Highlights:
  • xc9clair is a web service that implements the Eclat support vector machine (SVM) approach for the classification of species origin for, primarily, expressed sequence tags (ESTs) that have been sequenced from cDNA libraries prepared from the biological interfaces between two species.
  • In addition to providing an interface for the classification of sequences, users are presented with the opportunity to train a model to suit their preferred species pair.
